Key West Insulation was founded in 2017 by a team that had spent years working on homes across South Florida and understood firsthand how much the Florida Keys climate punishes houses that are not properly insulated. Key West homes are unlike anything on the mainland - old Conch houses with irregular attic spaces, wood-frame construction built before modern energy codes, and year-round heat and humidity that breaks down materials faster than almost anywhere else in the country.
We started this company because we kept seeing homes where the insulation was missing, badly installed, or simply wrong for the climate. A homeowner in Key West should not have to run their air conditioner at full blast just to stay comfortable. We set out to change that - using materials rated for coastal environments and doing work that meets Florida building code requirements.
Since 2017, we have worked on homes and commercial properties across Key West, Stock Island, Marathon, and the communities in between. Whether it is a historic Conch house near Duval Street or a newer home on the east end of the island, every job gets the same attention - a real on-site assessment before any quote, honest recommendations, and work we are willing to stand behind.
